Parents of Active List Players for the 2026 Miss Manatee Softball League Season,
Reminder that mandatory assessments will take place this Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Time slots for each division have been posted on Facebook under the Discussion tab of the event. Please be sure to review the schedule for your player’s division.
Your player is required to attend assessments if they meet one or more of the following criteria:
-
Did not play with us during the Fall season
-
Is moving up to a new age division
-
Was designated during registration as a pitcher and/or catcher
-
Is new to the Miss Manatee Softball League
All of the above situations require assessment participation.
This year, we have worked to streamline the process. Assessment time slots will be no longer than two hours, depending on whether your player needs to complete both pitcher and catcher evaluations and/or is a new player. Players who do not fall into those categories should only need to attend for approximately one hour.
We expect all required players to attend assessments. Please make every effort to ensure your player is present. Failure to attend may result in the inability to guarantee your player’s active roster spot.

Important Reminder:
If your player is required to assess because they are new, moving up, or did not play in the Fall, and they are designated as a pitcher/catcher, they must still complete the hitting and fielding assessment. However, you do not need to check in twice.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we work to keep assessments fair, efficient, and organized for all families.
